Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Autopen machines, shipping, support, and buying.

What is an Autopen machine?

An Autopen machine is a device that replicates handwriting using a real pen. It moves a pen across paper to produce writing that looks like genuine handwriting — because it is genuine pen on paper.

Are these machines guaranteed to work?

Every machine we sell has been tested to confirm it is operational. We grade each machine's condition honestly (excellent, good, fair, or as-is) and provide representative photos and condition notes so you know what to expect for each grade.

What does 'Universal Plus' mean?

The Universal Plus is the Autopen model we sell. It's a well-established machine known for reliability in envelope and handwritten mail workflows.

How does shipping work?

Each machine is palletized for safe transit. We offer free local pickup at our Louisville, Kentucky facility, or we can arrange freight shipping to the lower 48 states. You pay the machine price upfront, then we calculate freight based on your delivery address. Freight is billed separately.

What does the 30-day support include?

Free spare parts for 30 days if something needs replacement, plus free phone support for setup help and troubleshooting. This is remote support only — we do not provide in-person visits. After 30 days, contact us for replacement parts and troubleshooting help — we respond within one business day.

Can I buy more than one machine?

Yes. Contact us about bulk orders and we can discuss availability and pricing.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes. Free local pickup is available at our facility in South Louisville, Kentucky. Contact us to schedule a pickup time.

What if my machine has an issue after the support period?

You can contact us for replacement parts and troubleshooting help — we respond within one business day. These machines are serviceable, and many common issues are straightforward to resolve.
