An Autopen machine is a device that replicates handwriting using a real pen. It moves a pen across paper to produce writing that looks like genuine handwriting — because it is genuine pen on paper.
These are pre-owned Universal Plus machines. Every machine we ship is checked for core writing function before shipping. Photos show the Universal Plus model and general appearance, not the exact unit you will receive, so scuffs, wear, and small cosmetic details may vary.
The Universal Plus is the Autopen model we sell. It's a well-established machine known for reliability in envelope and handwritten mail workflows.
Autograph is the Windows software used to prepare jobs for the machine. It is where you place text, choose from eight handwritten fonts, and position the teardrop writing area before creating the run file.
Yes. Each machine includes one year of Autograph software access. After the first year, continued access requires a monthly or yearly Autograph subscription.
Yes. Autograph currently runs on Windows only, so a Windows computer is required to operate the software. The files used to run the machine are transferred from the computer to the Autopen machine with an SD card.
We offer free local pickup at our Louisville, Kentucky facility, or we can coordinate shipping to the lower 48 states. You pay the machine price upfront, then we confirm the shipping cost based on your delivery address. Shipping is billed separately.
Free spare parts for 30 days if something needs replacement, plus free phone support for setup help and troubleshooting. This is remote support only — we do not provide in-person visits. After 30 days, contact us for replacement parts and troubleshooting help — we respond within one business day.
